Opposite north is the historic "Square" of Logan Square , the cultural center of the neighborhood, which also houses one of the cites best year round farmers markets. Established in , the Logan Theater shows movies and has a vintage bar.

Welcome to our brand new retreat in the city. This loft was designed and remodeled to perfection taking into consideration every detail you need to enjoy your vacation in Chicago. Featuring a private outdoor deck and an entertaining area with a smart TV. The fully equipped kitchen offers stainless steel appliances such as stovetop and oven, microwave and full-sized refrigerator as well as basic cooking tools and supplies. In the bedroom you will find an extremely comfortable california king sized bed with a memory foam mattress and clean sheets.
The pampering bathroom features a large shower with a rainfall shower head, a hair-dryer as well as complimentary toiletries and clean towels. This loft is very well kept, professionally cleaned and sanitized after each and every use. Set between South Old Irving and Kilbourn parks, the building lies in one of Chicago's most interesting historical neighborhoods.
The loft is not far from Logan Square and the area features many great local restaurants and bars.
Only caveat is it takes about 40 minutes via public transportation to get to downtown, but that wasn't a big deal as the public transport was solid Robbie T Five Stars Brandon T This space is ideal for a couple that needs a lovely peaceful place near Chicago. The stairs make the space aesthetically very pleasing however, unfriendly for kids, pets and the elderly. Melissa is a friendly host and easy to contact. Cubs fans, deep-dish fans, and history fans unite!

Our apartment is within walking distance of coffee shops including a Starbucks , banks, and grocery stores.
With plenty of good restaurants, vibrant bars, and exciting venues, you might find yourself not even wanting to venture downtown! Some of our favorite nearby restaurants include Fat Cat, where you can indulge in tasty pub grub over a game of pool, and Demera, an Ethiopian restaurant serving top-notch coffee shareable small plates. Fat Cat is only a 2-minute walk from our place, and Demera is a 5-minute walk at most.
Need a coffee fix in a hurry? Searching for some more global cuisine? How about an adult beverage at the end of the day? Uptown has no shortage of nightlife, and one must-visit watering hole is the famed live music hotspot The Green Mill. Another classic music venue is the Riviera Theatre, which has been dazzling patrons since The Riviera is only a 5-minute walk from our apartment, as is the storied Aragon Ballroom.

Baseball fans will be happy to know that our apartment is only a 7-minute L ride from Wrigley Field - just take the Red Line from Lawrence to Addison. Sorry, we had to. Also a short walk from Addison Station is the s-era Music Box Theatre, which now screens a fascinating variety of indie and international films. We are constantly told this place is better than advertised. This is a quiet residential neighborhood, with bustling activity on the major streets. Very nearby is Chicago's new vintage clothing and furniture row for unique shopping. Julie's place is spotless, huge, and better than described.
