Borderlands 2 matchmaking level

Anybody else having trouble finding public games?

It also makes this clear at certain points of the game, where it seems that multiple people need to be involved for a lift to work, or some other apparatus. Therefore, to get the best experience out of Borderlands 2, you should gather up to 4 of your friends, and then go at it as a team. As a team, you will share experience for all the kills you get, which helps all the players level up quicker.

Especially, if you happen to have a high-level player with you, who can clear areas of enemies quickly, whilst you run through and complete the objectives. However, if you are concerned that you aren't going to be earning the full amount of experience for each kill, then maybe it may be preferable if you were to go alone.

Discussion Info

Borderlands 2 has a lot of weapons, shields and vehicles for you to choose from. So to make the best use of this, always try to use the best equipment at your disposal, so that killing enemies is both quicker and more rewarding. It is often recognised that the huge variety of weapons available on Borderlands 2 is it's 'backbone', but whether you choose to use the ones available to you is your choice.

If you happen to be playing Borderlands 2 with some of your friends, then you should consider lending weapons to each other, to make sure each player is using the optimal equipment for his level. If one of your teammates happens to not be using a weapon which is much more powerful than yours, then assuming you can use it you can ask him if he would lend it to you in exchange for something else.

The great trade feature on Borderlands 2 allows you to do this with ease, and I highly recommend that you put it into use.

In Borderlands 2 there are masses of boxes, barrels and other containers scattering the areas, which all contain either ammo, health regains or cash. These can be extremely useful to loot, as with the more cash that you have available, the more you can afford to purchase the better equipment, shield, guns etc.

The other nice thing that Borderlands 2 has integrated in the game is that it allows loot sharing as well, which in effect allows one person from the group to loot from all the enemies, and the rest of the group gain a share of that loot. Therefore, as a strategy, you could potentially have one person from the group shoot everything and another person simply pick up what is left.

It may be worth having a good way of communication between players, so that you can easily alert other players if there is an area with a lot of loot to pick up. Remember, that Borderlands 2 has immense map sizes, and is a free-roam game. This means that you need to be specific when telling people where to go or look for things to collect. The majority of enemies will drop cash when they die, and even though this may not be a huge amount, it sure does add up in the end! To maximise the amount of money that you gain whilst playing, you should aim to kill every enemy in an area, and make sure that either you or someone else in your group is looting everything that is dropped.

Not only does killing EVERY enemy help in gaining money for better items and weapons, but it also it helps you level up much more quickly. This can be extra helpful when completing longer quests, which could take a long time to complete before seeing a reward for your work.

Should I buy Borderlands 2 in 2018 (PC)?

Some players will become very confused very quickly, if they don't take the time to listen in on what's actually happening in the game. Plus, there are many cut scenes in Borderlands 2, which are there so that you can have a better grasp on the situation, and therefore know where you need to go to progress.

Of course, there is a map and objective pointer that you can use to know where to go, although, sometimes the objectives make more sense if you know why you're doing them. Additionally, the storyline has a large aspect of humour to it that you're really missing out on if you simply do not take notice. The whole point of this game is to have as much fun as possible shooting things up, whilst simultaneously getting a laugh from some of the characters like Marcus or Claptrap.

A major way to make the game easier and your character more powerful is to use your badass points to improve the skills available to your character. As you progress through more of the story and kill more enemies, you gain more of these points to upgrade certain attributes for your character. I'm wondering this as well. In my opinion yes, I always do two playthroughs for single player and online. In the first borderlands you could search games and it would show you how far the host is into the game and everyone's levels before joining. Not sure about quick match though.

When im not playing with friends I tend not to get my hopes up because there are people who won't do anything in game but run around collecting loot. I would imagine it would only be completed for the host. The only way to complete quest for yourself is joining someone's game who is at the same point in their MQ or at a point behind you.

If they are ahead of you, then you can't get credit for the quest they do. Don't know if they changed that with the new game, I'd doubt it though. In one of the hour long gameplay videos they said that if you do missions ahead of your progress in someone else's game, then when you reach that mission in your own play through you'll have the option to skip it or play it again. If you don't like refund it. Oct 25, 2, Borderlands 2 is pretty much the perfect chill-and-podcast game to me.

It's colorful and weird and and there's lots of colorful numbers that go up and up. I think it sort of is somewhat tired now, but it has its moments. Also has a ton of content especially with the DLC although some of the DLC is better than others Borderlands 2 is not my most played game on Steam, but it may be the game I've left installed for the longest amount of time.

Imitation Of Life Member. Community patch is awesome. Still a very active game. Oct 25, 5, Omni. Its worth it - even if you play SP for it - a lot of great content. Even better with a friend or two. Oct 27, Florida. I just bought it because I like podcast games. I enjoy the series but haven't truly played a whole lot of 2.

I own it in ps4 with the Handsome collection but wanted it at high fps. I was intrigued when I saw they added a few new classes to the game. I started a psycho and it's pretty cool.

I've only been fucking around with it like 4 hours but I'm still deep into The Division at the moment. Once I get done exploring that game's endgame content I imagine I'll go to Borderlands 2 until the Destiny 2 expansion releases.

Honestly I'm just sort of burned out of the Borderlands universe. It's just so "in-your-face" and annoying. I feel like I'm enjoying it in spite of the game's best efforts.

I'll be very interested if they make Borderlands 3 a shared-world shooter, however! Oct 25, 1, I'm very iffy about supporting Gearbox after Colonial Marines and the shitstorm surrounding that. BL2 is seriously super good. I just started a replay of it with all the DLC I was missing. One of the best loot shooters out there. Oct 27, 8,
