MM considers all ships in the division to be the same tier as the highest division ship. Back in the day people used to troll by divisioning with a tier 10 and a tier 1 ship, or something similar. My unscientific estimation of divisioning at Tier V-VIII seems to put you at bottom tier at very least half the time, and probably more. But, don't worry about it - you can fight from two tiers down with confidence since you can voice communicate with your division mate s.

Tier V gets horrible MM whether you division or not but solo MM is more evenly spread in terms of whether your down two, middle or top tier Tiers VI-VIII Yes, anyone can find ways to contribute no matter where MM places them but it's a fine line between effectively contributing measured against being heavily hammered or deleted when RNG and one or two rounds finds the right spot on your ship.
That's divisioning for you. It's not every battle but certainly the majority. At least in my experience. My recommendation is, if you are going to division at Tier V and above, load up on consumables, signals, and paint, if only to level the playing field a little bit - some nights you and your division will be down two tiers over and over and over.

Iam on the Est Coat and this is what i have to go through when i decide to play between 12ampm. I cannot Enjoy the Game this way. You guys Destroyed the matchmaking in this game. Trying to get a matchmake for Legendary is nearly impossible. Even by begging the chat for a group as you can see.

I asked the chat 3? Sometime it can take up to 1 hour to find a group because even if i find 1 other person or even 2 no they dont want to wait so they leave and i have to now again search for more players in the chat. Trying to get a Laststand matchmake is even more Impossible during this Time.
I have been forced to stopped Playing laststand during this time and its not by choice. I just cant get a matchmake in laststand within a reasonable amount of time. This is Beyond Ridiculous.
Your regional matchmake Idea doesn't work it just frustrates the crap out of the majority of players. Your Regional matchmaking is denying me to play the game how i want and how it was designed to play. If iam Lucky enough to have a friend ON that i knew from before this bad regional matchmaking idea from another country i can join on him and get normal speed matchmaking most of the time. This is what the majority of players do now. We should not have to go to this Extreme Extent to play the freaking game.

Sometimes i dont want to play with Friends that i always play with. How do you expect me to meat new Friends. Further more This regional matchmaking is getting to the point where iam seeing the same freaking player over and over. As i said before Sometimes i like to play solo but with randoms but its getting to the point that its not possible. This makes the game seem more dead then it is. I talked about Matchmaking for Legendary and Laststand but finally i will talk about Incursions.
It is down right slim to no chance you will get a matchmake for an incursion without going to the chat to ask for a group.
