With my last pregnancy I knew the dates of my LMP and went for a dating scan which showed a 4 week difference in dates. Out of curiosity what was the birthweight of your DS?? For example, I remember driving from Brisbane to gold coast and back within an hour and got back home and slept straight for the rest of the day this was before I found out I was pregnant and I usually cannot sleep during the day and feeling constantly tired and EXTREMELY dizzy and this would have been when I was approximately 3 weeks pregnant 1 week gestational??? The sonographer actually said that my GP was naughty, and that everyone should have a dating scan regardless of knowing their lmp dates etc. Also, I had recorded quite strong movements at approx 14 weeks I have had two previous pregnancies , but going by these new dates, i would have been 11 weeks??? My midwife said any scans after 12 weeks aren't accurate as by then the genetic differences will have started to show eg I'm 5 ft 9 and DH is 6 ft 3 so our baby is likely to be bigger than someone who is 5 ft 2 with a partner of 5 ft 9 IYKWIM. With my current pregnancy I knew my LMP date but didn't get a positive test until over a week after AF was due, it turned out that I ovulated a week late.
A dating scan is the best way to predict your due the end of your pregnancy if you think your baby is. i didnt no what answer to give him so i'll ask on here how accurate can they be on the age of the baby at a dating scan done before 10 weeks??.

I know the exact date of my last LMP but I know I wasnt preg just opver 2 weeks ago but if im preg now im on day 68 of my cycle witch would make me like 8 - 10 weeks pregnant when I would really be no more then 5 weeks. It turned out that AF had just not arrived the previous month so my LMP was actually 6 weeks prior to her being conceived making a 4 week variance if that makes sense? I have been told typically scans can be up to 10 days out either way especially later in pregnancy so i'd so maybe you are due somewhere in the middle?
