Every character in this ensemble is so layered. Every action seem to always have purpose down the road, so far. The writing, camera work, acting and OST is so on point in this series that I hope you get to watch it sooner than later. Shk just getting old now and never improve and limited in acting.

I have yet to continue to watch the drama. Its dark and its funny at the same time. The writer is superb and so is the whole cast. My sunshine is a good drama. Sky castle is also a good drama. Compare this two is a no no. All i can say about sky castle its dae to the bak.

This discussion made me google it up, and it does look like there are slightly different understanding of the word: This show is genius and I love it. I don't have lot to say on this one; it's a very solid, cinematic experience, and one thing it seems really good at is building tension. The thundering drum instrumentals are gorgeous, I hope they get released at some point. I'm actually obsessed with this now. Strangely, it reminds me of Shining Inheritance - mental, with a billion sub-plots, filled with occasionally idiotic villains who show too much on their faces, and ridiculously re-watchable.
I wish I'd watched this earlier, then I could have voted for it in all the End of Year polls. I am glad you loved Mother, it is the finest drama ever made.
My fav episode is the one in which soo-jin's adopted mother dies. The commentary was so good, I watched it with my dad and mom. After that my dad never said a single complain about Korean dramas. I watched the scene where Cha Young-shin died twice because it was SO beautiful!

I loved everything about it, right down to the shirt she was wearing. Bless that woman - she managed to make the character so complex, proud but tender and breakable.
